The season of new beginnings. The days become longer and our desire to escape our winter shelters beckons us to the great outdoors. There is so much to do!

Spring heralds the northward migration of our feathered friends and Long Point offers birders rare and unique opportunities from this world-renowned birding location.  Enjoy a quiet bike ride through town, or along our scenic shoreline. Commune with nature on one of our many nearby trails taking in the natural beauty of our Carolinian forests by foot or on horseback.

Feel yourself rejuvenate while basking in the growing warmth of the springtime sunshine at Long Point.

Lazy hazy days and a slower pace - ahhhh - it's Summer!

Find your personal oasis on Long Point's 40-km sand spit that many have compared to the Caribbean. The beach is the perfect place to play some volleyball, build a sandcastle or swim and soak up the sun.

Looking for an out-of-the-ordinary adventure? We have that too! Go scuba diving, try zip-lining through the canopy of our Carolinian Forest, kayak or canoe down famous Big Creek, or maybe enjoy the unique “nightlife” in Long Point by stargazing at our local observatory. Golfing at one of the many local courses or fishing charters remain very popular leisure pursuits. There is always something to do in the Long Point area, unless the plan is to do nothing at all.

Framed by cozy nights and beautiful fall colors, Autumn Days in the Long Point area are made for those in love and for those who love the outdoors.

Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a wine tasting at one of our famous South Coast vineyards, small-town shopping or even taking in the annual reenactment of the War of 1812, the entire fall season is a new adventure just waiting for you to discover.
